Ululu didn’t you know, yeah me either

Oh my, anyone else wondering where November has disappeared too? What happened to October! In a month where we should be thankful I suppose I’ll start with some of that gratitude nonsense I seem to revert back to talking to on the reg. It is only because it is the easiest way to change your outlook on any situation. Can I ask or should I wait until next week to ask what are you grateful for this year?

What a strange question and at the same time with a moment of self reflection I’d have to say those who have stood out and kept connected during this time. Don’t beat yourself up for neglecting a relationship all that does is send you in the opposite direction of feeling grateful. Which is remorseful? I don’t know, but I do know that counting your blessings and loved ones is something to be grateful for and for those of you that continue to bless me with your time reading this blog. Yeah, that’s what I’ll go with, family, friends and my dear readers.

If you haven’t been following along I’ve recently completed more of my paintings for my alphabet of flowers project. The most recent pictured above! If you haven’t please connect with me on Instagram, unless you don’t like to use that platform, then I completely understand. I was against tech for too long and recently I’ve given up on giving a crap about who has my data and what they do with it. It seems to be just one more thing I was worrying about behind the scenes and now…meh, if someone wants to know my boring day to days then by all means have at it. I mean seriously though if you are listening in and making products I’m thinking, the least you could do is send me a prototype ha-ha. Do you ever feel like this is happening to you too? Perhaps it’s just me.

This week I had the great pleasure of practicing some more jibberish…Oh well you know practice makes progress so we continue to practice. Regardless of what it is, anything that gets you to do what you keep telling yourself you want to do is progress. Also it turns out that ululu is an awesome upbeat song from guy or band named Hakim. I didn’t take too much time to research it but I did give it a listen and it was pretty poppin’. Please pay no mind to my 9s they are a little unrehearsed, but my numbers have always been neglected. I’ll get there one day.

The fourth Spencerian principle the extended loop is giving me some trouble. I couldn’t seem to keep them consistent but I still feel like handwriting shouldn’t look like you typed and printed it anyways so overall I’m rather pleased with each mark I make on the page. You know just keep doing that hard thing you don’t want to do today! And until next week, Happy Practicing!
